Kursav is a Trans New Guinea language spoken in Madang Province, Papua New Guinea. When I last worked on it, in 2014, it had 10 elderly speakers left. The village where it was spoken, Faita, had already shifted to Gende before Tok Pisin arrived, and then the community shifted again to Tok Pisin.
This is a video from 2014 of two Kursav elders, Tɨraria Prinawai and Bundu Doremba, talking about some of the plants that grow around their village and how they can be used. You can turn on subtitles in Kursav, Tok Pisin, or English.
